This year, we made over $2500 with over 40 raffle participants! We are excited to grow this in the coming years and spread awareness for children and youth who are blind or visually impaired in Texas.
A special thanks to our board who made this event happen:
Cynthia Carter for curating the Arboretum stay and bringing in over $1,000 in raffle ticket sales!
Mary Sue Welch for donating the VR system, Cuisinart bundle, Amazon gift card, and Apple Watch!
Beth Pierce for curating the Airbnb stay and preparing the meal!
Paula Margeson for donating the official signed Rangers baseball cap
Valerie Alvarez for donating the wine basket!
Lee Sonnenberg for bringing the 50/50 to this event (Our biggest seller!)
Nancy Hefner for organizing and being a great collaborator on the prize drawing Zoom event/this whole journey!
Thank you to all who participated this year. Our hearts are overflowing with the generosity and commitment of the supporters to this cause. We aim to be a resource for the optimal physical, mental, emotional, and social development of children and youth in Texas, who are blind or have visual impairments. With the support of you beautiful people, we can continue this mission!
